We would like to extend our most sincere congratulations to Leo Huang for being awarded a Year 7 Music Scholarship. Leo has been studying piano with Lina for around five years. He has performed at many of our Lina’s Music House (LMH) concerts and has accompanied a choir for a large community event in front of hundreds of people. Leo is currently studying his AMEB Grade 5 and 6 Piano, and will be sitting his AMEB Grade four Theory of Music this August.
As one of Lina’s outstanding students, Leo is currently training under Lina to become a future LMH teacher. All our LMH students who complete AMEB Grade 8 piano will have the opportunity to become an LMH teacher. Leo has helped prepare two piano students for a LMH piano examination and LMH End of Year concert. Our LMH students who have achieved Grade 5 and 6 levels will have the ability to teach young beginners under Lina’s supervision and guidance. Young teachers can relate to and communicate with children their age in their own unique way.
Leo is a dedicated student and has never missed a lesson. He is currently having one hour weekly lessons with Lina at the Deer Park Studio. He is actively participating in his local community activities and always volunteering to perform at various events.
Our music lessons are fun and are tailored to each individual student’s needs. We will try to help each individual student reach their full potential through a well structured program, regular weekly lessons and daily piano practise.
Our talented LMH teachers are fun, kind and passionate people who are academically and musically successful. Our students at LMH continue to achieve outstanding results every year because we value education and creativity. We would like to think LMH is not just another music school. We are a group of multi-passionate people who have successfully pursued multiple career paths and love music because of our many years of professional music training. Our multi-talented young generation need role models to help them understand that they do not have to restrict themselves to one career. There are many possibilities in this world and they can be who they want to be, as long as they do it well. We welcome multi-passionate teachers who want to help change the world with us ( one student at a time).
