I was an active wedding singer and the occasional MC for weddings from 2008- 2011. My favourite part of the wedding are the speeches from the bride, bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen. Although I only meet the bride and groom for an hour to discuss about the wedding, the speeches help take me on a journey of how the bride and groom first met, how they fell in love, how they helped each other through hardships, and the defining moment they felt was the right time to share with friends and family the decision to spend the rest of their life together.
