Emotions – Piano and lyrics by Lina Chan

I would like to share with you my first original song I wrote in 2011 called ‘Emotions’.  This is an original song I composed dedicated to my mentor/ piano teacher of 23years. My mentor has cared for me so much and made herself available to me whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on, a person to talk to, a person to guide me in all the obstacles in life. Using the music skills she has taught me, I wrote her this song to express how grateful I am in which simple words “thank you” could not express what I really wanted to say. This is a song that may have taken me 3 months to write, but embraces a whole life time of experiences and feelings within. This is why I called this original song ‘Emotions’. I hope you like my first original song live performance.
